ILAN ESHKERI

Ilan Eshkeri is an award-winning composer whose eclectic body of work is linked by his love of emotional narratives.
Known for cult films such as Layer Cake, Stardust, The Young Victoria, and Still Alice, Eshkeri is also recognised for his innovative work with Ralph Fiennes and his extensive television scores, including collaborations with David Attenborough. In 2025, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (Original Dramatic Score) for SUPER/MAN: THE CHRISTOPHER REEVE STORY.
Always looking to push boundaries in sounds and formats, Eshkeri’s work also spans music for video games, such as the global phenomenon ‘The Sims’ and the BAFTA & Ivor Novello-nominated ‘Ghost of Tsushima’.
On stage Eshkeri has created ballets, fashion shows and concerts, his most recent show in association with NASA and ESA is called ‘Space Station Earth’, a huge synth-pop, orchestral and visual experience which takes the audience on the extraordinary emotional journey of an astronaut. He has also collaborated with numerous artists on songs and scores, including Coldplay, KT Tunstall, Sinead O’Connor, Annie Lennox, and David Gilmour.
