JASPER ROSS

Formerly known as Clarence the Kid, hip hop up-and-comer Jasper Ross is a multidisciplinary creative who’s passion for the craft shows in every aspect of his artistry.
Having only been in the game for a short while, the twenty-something lyricist has already accomplished an impressive rap sheet — opening for acts such as 24kGoldn, YBN Nahmir, Brent Faiyaz, IDK, and D Smoke; collaborating on tracks with Nina Ann of Citizen Queen, Kosha Dillz, and fellow collective members Jamel & Kabwasa; and even spending some time working in A&R and managerial positions at Interscope Records and Top Dawg Entertainment respectively.
His most recent release, “sometimes … idk” was a collaborative effort between Jasper and his former self — an amalgamation of digital production, live instrumentation, introspective songwriting, and an ode to a new chapter of musicality.
Following it’s release, Jasper took a two-year hiatus from music, pivoting into the world of filmmaking. He and long-time friend & film director Ellis Jamal Sutton spent the next two years creating their well-received short film “Game Night”, which placed at both the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Burbank International Film Festival.
