A true graduate of Generation Grime, LDizz has been paying dues and putting in work since the tender age of 12. Becoming greatly inspired by the local, thriving bassline and relatively new grime scenes, and looking up to and hearing fellow Steel City artists like Coco & Remz, Shinobi, and Kase, a young LDizz was as sure then as he is now that this was to be the day job!
After becoming part of Sheffield grime collective ‘M3’ (Music Making Movement), LDizz made his way round the underground scene with an impressive consistency, holding his own against the city’s very best whenever put to any test.
His rapid-fire, high-energy delivery is perfectly complemented by his equally strong ability to write catchy hooks and sing-song choruses, a point LDizz is eager to prove and will surely do as he starts working on his first demo/ep.
After recently receiving high praise from BBC Radio 1Xtra DJs Mistajam and Charlie Sloth for his features on tracks such as ‘Like I Do’ with Shinobi, or ‘No Occasions’ with Kase, both of which gained BBC radio airtime, LDizz now has his eyes set on carving his own name into the history books.
