Our joyful choral arrangement of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” hauntingly helps retell the true story of events that took place in Merseyside. This emotive advertisement encourages viewers to support the RSPCA’s Christmas Rescue campaign. The campaign is crucial for the RSPCA, which anticipates its emergency line will be busier than ever this winter due to the cost-of-living crisis.
The advert tells the true story of two starving Staffordshire bull terrier-type puppies, Jack and Poppy, abandoned by their owners. A neighbour had reported their suspicions about the puppies’ abandonment, and the RSPCA arrived to find Jack and Poppy only hours away from death. Fortunately, both puppies survived after emergency veterinary treatment and have since been rehomed with loving families.
