ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ON CHENGCHENG "TROY" TANG

This month we're shinning the light on Troy

17 Feb 2026

Troy is an LA–based composer, producer, and songwriter who’s redefining the soundtrack of Reality TV with his infectious, pop-forward production style.

From the romantic tension of “Love Is Blind” to the steamy drama of “Too Hot to Handle”, Troy’s music pulses through many of Netflix’s reality favourites. His tracks have become widely used in cultural juggernauts like “Vanderpump Rules”, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “nd Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”.

Troy’s breakout moment came with “At Last,” the opening theme for Netflix’s hit show “Single’s Inferno” seasons 4 and 5, co-written and performed by Jasmine Park. The track didn’t just introduce the show; it sparked a viral phenomenon. TikTokers choreographed dances to it, and it hit Spotify’s Viral 50 charts across Asia.

Alongside his screen work, he produced and co-wrote the single for Sorn and Minnie (i-dle), which debuted on Spotify New Music Friday playlists across 13 Asian and Nordic regions, including South Korea, Japan, Norway, and Finland.
